So, I'm about half done with the interjections, but I'm getting really, really sick of doing them, so I'm coding up some dialogue that's already written. It's still progress. A little closer, every day.

All the dialogue that's already written is coded, and I'm still sick of writing interjections, so I think I'll make a big push to get the beta-testing of Alternatives done so I can get that out the door and move on to something else.
In other news, Lava Del'Vortel made a lovely area for me, a small Lathandrite chapel, so I'm looking forward to using that for quests and other mischief.

Alternatives is out of beta testing, and all went well. Should be released publicly shortly, depending on how things go.
When I'm modding, I usually work on a couple of things at once... or rather, I work on one thing obsessively until I'm sick of it and then work on something else until either it's done or I'm sick of it. And then I go back to the first project. So Gavin's still in the works, it's just that I need a few more days before I can return to the mod with any kind of enthusiasm. So, I'm working on Homeward Bound v3 for a while. Yesterday, I cooked up a little mod that lets the player teleport to places he's already been, and I'm liking how that works. But that's the kind of thing that's going to to have to go through testing throughout the course of an entire game, so testing is going to take a while.
So back to Homeward Bound v3. It's going to let the PC send BioWare NPCs home from Brynnlaw. Captain Ruby is an honest ship captain in a dishonest place, but she's got no great love of men. She'll take your female party members home for 5,000 gold pieces, but she wants 10,000 to transport any males... or Viconia. Her half-orc first mate, Jasmine, will offer for sale a few "piratey" items, scimitars, daggers, miscellaneous magic gadgets, and the like. Eventually, if other modders like the idea and want me to include their NPCs, I'll make something up for inclusion in Crossmod Banter Pack that will enable mod NPCs to be sent home as well. I realize that this will be used solely as a convenience mod for players who want to use NPCs that are only available in chapters 4 and 5, Imoen, Tiax, Solaufein, and Xulaye (Why are there no joinable NPCs in the sahuagin city? OK, surface-dwelling visitors are probably most often used for food or for sport, like that ettin, but still, you'd think there might be some gladiator that's lived long enough for you to liberate him.), and have their dismissed party members available later, but there's no reason that convenience mods have to be boring.

Alternatives is finally out the door, as in publicly released, and so far,so good.
I'm kind of in "tie up loose ends" mode, and Homeward Bound v4 is pretty darned close to completion, so I'm just going to crank away at it until it's done.
After that, I'll probably go back and work on Gavin again. I'm just about over the burnout I was feeling with it, and I'm starting to get sick of working on tweaks.

Lots going on, though most of it is in workrooms. Beta testing of the SoA portion of the Keldorn Romance is done, which means that it's time to work on ToB for Gavin, Haldamir, and the Keldorn Romance. And got a few other projects simmering on back burners.
Took some time out today to attempt to replace the sand in my swimming pool filter but was driven inside by hornets. I'm allergic to bee stings, so being outside with hornets was not a good idea.
Back to the mines.

No posts in a bit, but it's been longer before.
Working on ToB for Gavin, Haldamir, and the Keldorn Romance... and three other mods. Rotating. One dialogue for Gavin, one for Hal, one for Keldorn, one set of banters for somebody else's mod, one set of banters for Reynald, one dialogue set for the secret mod. And back to the beginning. Eventually, I'll get it all done. In the meantime, I'm spending too much time moderating forums, but that's a welcome break. Nobody can write for 16 hours a day without taking a lot of breaks or going insane. Sometimes both.
Should be cleaning my house. Never seems like much of a priority.

House is still a mess, but making good progress on ToB Gavin, ToB Haldamir, and the ToB portion of the Keldorn romance.
Gavin: 7/17 ToB PC dialogues completed (banters already done)
Haldamir: 7/11 ToB PC dialogues completed
Keldorn: 6/16 ToB PC dialogues completed
Major milestones: Master Wraith encounters and follow-up dialogues completed for both Gavin and Keldorn.
Things are a bit chaotic right now. I start a new job on Thursday after having been unemployed for quite some tme, so I'm trying to wrap up details elsewhere.
